Vista Serviced Apartments FAQs

At Vista Serviced Apartments we aim to provide the best quality accommodation with the highest level of customer service. Listed below are our answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Q    What is a serviced apartment and how does it differ from a hotel?

A   

The most important difference is that when you book a serviced apartment, unlike a hotel you don’t just find yourself with a small bedroom – you get a whole apartment to yourself! This is particularly beneficial if you are staying for more than just a few nights because you really want to make yourself feel at home.

Q   

Does this mean that staying in a serviced apartment will cost more than booking into a hotel?

A   

Not at all. In fact the reverse is often true – especially if two people share a 2 bedroom apartment. As a rule, a serviced apartment will offer you much better value for money.

Q    How does Vista differ from other serviced apartment operators?

A   

Our guests tell us that our apartments are much bigger than many of our competitors and that overall the standard of the interiors is very high. Our serviced apartments also have some lovely features like ‘floor to ceiling’ windows, which create a lot of natural light and we are in one of the best locations in Leeds city centre!

Q    Will there be somebody to help me during my stay?

A   

Yes. We place a very high emphasis on our personal guest service and our Guest Relations Manager will be on hand to help you throughout your stay.

Q    What does ‘serviced’ mean in the context of ‘serviced apartments’?

A   

In much the same way as you expect when you book into a hotel, the services include cleaning, fresh bed linen and towels. For our longer term guests, the apartments are serviced by our housekeeping staff on a weekly basis. You will also find that the apartment has digital TV, DVD, W-fi and other features, all of which are included in the price you pay. There are no hidden extras.

Q    What are the check in/out times and how do I collect keys?

A   

Our normal check in time is from 2pm with check out by 11a.m. on your day of departure. It is possible to arrange for early and late check-outs but this does incur a small additional charge of £10 plus VAT.

We always arrange to ‘meet and greet’ you on your arrival.

Q    Are your serviced apartments in a good location?

A   

Please click on the location tab to find out more but yes, we couldn’t be in a more convenient location in a nice, safe area of Leeds city centre.

Q    What is provided within each serviced apartment?

A   

Please click on the Services tab under About Us to find out more. We think we provide everything you should need for a comfortable stay.

Q    Are your serviced apartments Non Smoking?

A   

Yes but smoking is permitted on the balconies. Please note not all apartments have balconies so smokers need to make a specific request.

Q    Is Car Parking available?

A   

We have some onsite secure car parking which is available at a small additional daily charge and must be pre booked as we do not always have availability. There is ample on-street parking outside our apartment building, which is free from 6pm – 8am as well as on Sunday and Bank Holidays. A convenient safe alternatively is ‘The Light’, a secure, well-lit, undercover car park just 5 minutes walk from our serviced apartments.

Q    Do your serviced apartments have internet access?

A   

Yes all our apartments have complimentary Wi-fi access.

Q    How many people will each serviced apartment sleep?

A   

Our one bedroom apartments sleep two in a double bed. A two bedroom apartment sleeps four people. Please note we do not have single beds and guests cannot sleep on the sofas. We have no objection to travel cots being used for babies/young children (guest to provide).

Q    How to make a reservation and payment

A   

To reserve an apartment either email ria@stayinleeds.com when you will be contacted within 24 hours to confirm your booking or call on 0113 209 1057 for an immediate confirmation of reservation. In both cases you will be asked to provide a deposit, or in the event of a one or two night stay full payment, via a credit or debit card (a fee will be incurred for the use of a credit card) in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
